Our expertise covers event and stage management, audio design and operation, lighting design and operation, photography, videography, editing and video effects together with strong experience in the performing arts.

Terri Herlings
During her studies at UWS, Terri became inspired by the process of visually recording dance as a creative and educational tool. While there she met two amazing people who took her on a journey she’ll never forget. Karen Pearlman and Richard James Allen, who make up the Physical TV Company, asked Terri to be a part of their dance film Thursday’s Fictions. After a long awaited world premiere in 2006, Thursday’s Fictions has been receiving acclaimation from around the world. www.thursdaysfiction.com Terri also worked closely with Karen and Richard on a critical path research project in 2006.
Terri has also performed in the Mirramu Dance Company’s 2006 production of Waves of the Desert under the direction of Elizabeth Cameron Dalman. In 2004-2005 Terri performed in the Dance Bites season at Riverside Theatre, and in association with UWS, Exit Under the Skin, Appearance, Tossed, The Electric Body Project, The Calling, Open House are some of the performances with which she has been involved. Terri also participated in The Australian Dance Theatre’s 40th anniversary celebrations in Adelaide in 2005. Stepping aside from contemporary dance Terri was also a WSFM Jukebox Dancer, has taught Hip/Hop, has adjudicated scholarships in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Contemporary dance and instructed the 2006 intake audition for the UWS Performance Degree.
Terri’s aim for Vision Events is to give the youth and community of Sydney, the opportunity to enhance their passion, knowledge and support for the theatre and the arts.
Simon Koenig
With over 20 years of experience in the performing arts and theatre industry there is very little that this unique individual hasn’t done. Simon had designed and operated audio & lighting for countless theatrical productions and corporate events, stage managed everything from Mardi Gras floats to Rock Eisteddfods, produced events ranging in size from one man reviews to professional musical productions. Simon has a flare for creative problem solving and adapting the latest technologies and strategies to bring even the most complicated productions to fruition.
After a five year stint at Sony Australia working in various technical and management positions Simon took his theatrical passion full time when accepting the position as the Technical Manager of The Hills Centre for the Performing Arts, one of the largest and most versatile theatres in New South Wales. Simon has previously operated SK-AV a sucessful production company with an impressive resume of clients and events. Simon has brought his experiance and high quality of production services to Vision Events.
Sam Pembroke
When not putting his communications media degree to use behind a camera or at an editing console, you may find Sam on stage starring in a production such as the Australian premiere of Sondheim’s Pulitzer-Prize winning musical, Sunday in the Park with George. A talented actor, Sam also has over 10 years of experience in the production aspects of theatre. Working as a stage manager at such venues as the Hills Centre for the Performing Arts and Sydney Town Hall, he has gained much experience in all types of events, be it live musical productions, dance concerts or corporate events.
Sam uses his computer-based media skills in many ways at Vision Events. He is no stranger to programming, and has written software he has used in shows in the past for such purposes as vision projection. Sam is also the creator of the Vision Events website.
As a film and video-maker, Sam has worked on productions for various companies including TV Sydney, many of which have been shot in a live theatre environment. Coupled with his experience and knowledge as a performer, Sam uses his skills to bring a performer’s vision to the the final product of any production.
